    Abstract

    We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the comments of Mr. Bastian, and are pleased to learn that he agrees that carbonate eolianites, so common as shore-parallel ridges in WA, were “laid down as highstand deposits associated with onshore winds.” This in itself is a significant paradigm shift in Western Australia (WA).
