A variety of circumstances have conspired together to make traditional British public houses reassess their market position. This article examines those circumstances and considers the many different types of public houses which are appearing in the UK. It is clear that unless the suppliers consider the demand of their customers, they will cease to attract sufficient trade to be economically viable.
